This page is still under construction. Content below is a temporary simplified instruction.
Battle mode takes place in a huge map.
Allowing 2 to 4 teams with different combination of battle: 2v2, 2v1v1, 1v3, 1v1v1v1, 1v2, 1v1v1, 1v1
To win a battle, you need to destroy all your opponents' castles.
In battle mode, you can see some grids at the bottom left corner of the screen.
They represents hero and soldier units.
By mouse clicking on the grid, or by pressing number keys (the number keys above QWERTY, not keypad's number keys), you can select/unselect any computer units.
Only the selected units will follow your new command(s).
At the bottom right corner, you can see a mini map and the money your team have.
At the beginning, every team will have at least one gold mine, generating some income for every few seconds.
You can increase your income by occupying other's gold mines.
The first hero unit is considered as the chief of his/her team.
Only Chief can hire soldiers.
To hire soldiers, use the cursor to move over the Chief's grid.
Then you can see a menu appeared with different soldier types and prices.
Click on the soldier types then you will hire soldiers.
You can also use shortcut keys to hire soldiers.
Just press '1' (the one above the Q key) to toggle soldier types, and press 'Enter' to confirm hiring.
At the bottom of the soldier grid, you will see something like this "4(+16)".
4 means there are 4 soldiers on the battle field.
16 means there are 16 soldiers reserved. When any one of the 4 gets killed, the reserved soldiers will come out and replace the deaths.
And it will keep number of 4 until all the reseved soldiers are used up.
The same type of soldier will share the same soldier grid.
Therefore, when you hire the same type of soldier again, you will see "x2" in the grid, and the numbers at the bottom will become "8(+32)".
At the upper right corner of the soldier grid, there is a "rotating arrow" icon. It means that auto-refill of that unit is ON.
With auto-refill ON, when the reserved number is used up, you will automatically spend money to refill the soldiers.
Camp is the position where the reserved soldiers come out.
When a soldier dies, its reserve will come out from the nearest camp.
Castle, Camp, Gold mine have a red bar (like a hp bar) on them.
When they are attacked, it will be shorten. They will be occupied (or destroyed) when the red bar becomes zero length.
If no one attack them for a period of them, they will be gradually self-repaired.
Battle mode is not finished.
It is designed that Hero can perform some kind of "tactics" by spending tactic points.
"Tactic" is something like massive magic on his/others troops.
I hope I can finish this in v0.7.
Thanks
Marti
